The Living History Tour is a "must-do" while in Roscoe!

If you have wondered what life was like in a 19th century town nestled along the Ohio and Erie Canal, we invite you to travel back in time to see for yourself.  This year marks the bicentennial of Caldersburg (Old Roscoe -- 1816) which includes a new experience called "The People . . . Our Stores".  As you visit costumed interpreters in our living history buildings, you will learn about some notable people whose lives and deeds of the past contributed to what Roscoe Village is today.

What do our visitors say?

Historic Roscoe Village Ohio - Living History Tour Blacksmith

“Great place to take your family!”   The kids loved the hands-on activities in the Visitor Center, and were eager to complete their "Bill of Lading" by visiting each of the demonstrations in the historic buildings...the broom maker, the printer, etc.  It's a wonderful way to teach kids some of the history of the canal system.
