Apple Butter Time in Roscoe Village I can almost taste the fresh made apple butter now!  Join us at the 45th Annual Apple Butter Stirrin' Festival on October 17 through October 19.  Hours are 10am to 6pm Friday and Saturday and 10am to 5pm on Sunday.

Admission is $5 which includes visiting the artisans and interpreters in the living history buildings.  FREE parking and children under 12 are FREE.

Mudlarked in Roscoe Mudlarked in Roscoe . . . . A Historic Scavenger Hunt . . . . Whats it Game Offered Jan - Feb - Mar 2014 Need someplace to go and have a little fun . . .  Roscoe is offering the "What's it?" game January, February & March.  Enjoy a weaving or broom making demonstration and participate in the "What's It" game where you have an opportunity to guess an antique item and see how it worked in the old days.  Each person will take home a keepsake! 

While you're here visit the Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum, enjoy some fine dining and visit the charming Shops of Roscoe Village.

Apple Butter Stirrin' Festival I don't know about you, but I can't wait to smell the fresh apple butter cooking over an open fire during the Apple Butter Stirrin' Festival.  I love how the morning begins brisk and ends up with a nice breezy warm day!  There is always great entertainment at the main stage and lots of great artisans/crafters lining the street!  The food --- can't forget the food - you can sit down and have a meal or you can grab a bite and continue strolling!  What a great fall event!  Great crowd having a great time!!

Roscoe Village Lecture - Roger Moore Roger Moore a Native American Re-enactor and Historian from Mansfield, Ohio will be presenting our next lecture on September 15, 2013 at 2pm in the Visitor Center Theater.  He will share information on the foods, clothing, shelter and other aspects of daily living of the Native People of Ohio during the 1700's.  A little background on Roger.

Apple Butter Stirrin' Festival in Roscoe Village The 44th Annual Apple Butter Stirrin' Festival is October 18, 19 & 20.  This festival brings in many great crafters/artisans, free entertainment and free parking.  There is an admission fee of $5.00 per person (children under 12 are admitted free), which includes admission to all the Living History Buildings (a $9.95 value) where you may visit with the blacksmith, broom maker, weaver or the printer.  Doctor and Mrs. Johnson invites you to stop by the Doctor's office and his house and Eliza just may have a little something for you to sample in the kitchen.  The teacher awaits you in the one-room school house where you can write on slate and the teacher will have a school lesson for you to do.

Experience A Canal Town Journey Your Canal town Journey will begin at the Visitor Center where you will purchase your ticket and gather all the information you need for your wonderful experience during your visit and for a return trip to Roscoe Village!   We currently offer tours (guided) Monday through Thursday 11am and 2pm and self-guided tours are Friday, Saturday and Sunday from to 2pm.  Cost of tours are $9.95 Adults and $4.95 Students - under 5 are free.  You may also wish to take a horse-drawn canal boat ride at 1pm, 2pm and 3pm Tuesday through Sunday.  Cost is $8.00 Adults and $6.00 students - under 5 are free.  The Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum offer self-guided tours from 12pm to 5pm.

BREWSTER on Main Stage in Roscoe Village If you enjoy guitar and harmonica music you don't want to miss BREWSTER performing on the main stage in Roscoe Village on Saturday, July 13th from 11am to 2pm. This is just one exciting activity taking place throughout the summer months.  Self-guided tours are offered each Friday, Saturday and Sunday through Labor Day from 10am to 5pm.  Guided tours are available Monday through Thursday at 11am and 2pm.  Canal boat rides at 1pm, 2pm and 3pm Tuesday through Sunday.  The Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum is open daily 12N to 5pm.  Lots of great shopping and dining.  Come experience this beautiful 1800s restored canal town.

A Canal Town Visit Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday you can take a self-guided tour and learn about life in the 1800s.  Our crafters/interpreters are stationed in the Living History Buildings and are happy to demonstrate and interpret the work that would have done during the canal era.  Tours are also available Monday through Thursday as a guided tour.  Prices for all tours is $9.95 Adults and $4.95 Students.
