With a Roscoe Village Membership, we invite you to
join us in preserving the rich heritage of the canal-era lifestyle
for future generations to study, appreciate and enjoy. In 1968, Mr.
and Mrs. Edward Montgomery recognized a need to restore a decaying
part of canal history and the renaissance of the charming Roscoe
Village community began. Once a thriving port on the Ohio and Erie
Canal, Roscoe had suffered the decline of the canals and its
buildings had fallen into ruin.
The Roscoe Village Foundation, a not-for-profit
organization, operates the restoration project as an educational and
historical site through the continuing support of the Montgomery
Foundation and the generous support of our network of members.
Roscoe Village Memberships can be obtained at a
variety of levels, each entitling the individual or family to
special benefits. All members receive free admission to the Living History Tours, shopping

festival weekends, special Members' Shopping Day events, discounted

News mailings, discounts on the

Members' Day Celebration. Patron Memberships and above also receive
